Per-word pricing is more accurate and fair than per-hour pricing for the following reasons: different translators work at different paces, many documents have varying margins and line spacing (and therefore varying word counts), and the rendering of one language into another always effects a change in word count. How we estimate the price of your project:Per industry standard for English-Spanish translations, to estimate pricing for your project we take the word count of the source text and add 20% to it to calculate what the target text (resulting translation) will produce. The reason for this is that most Romance languages produce about 20% more words in the translation process from English.
